A (not so) Brief History of Mamdani Web
With the goal of elevating the Web one site at a time, long-time friends and co-workers Mr. Naveed and Mr. Essa Mamdani established Mamdani Web in January, 2008. As the “idea guy,” Essa infuses his forward-thinking vision into every project. Munir is the web Design guru, with extensive experience in the latest technologies & tools for the Web. He converts the ideas into reality that build the company.
Mamdani Web landed its first client — Marcus Anderson — in February 2008, and the company was on its way. In June of that year, Mr. Munir Kamal came on board, bringing years of Web designing experience as well as business and project management skills to the team. In August 2008 Adam John was added to the mix to help Mamdani Web meet the growing demand for Search Engine Optimization (SEO) services. Mamdani Web continued to expand its web design and development capacity with the acquisition of Web Designer/Developer in September 2008, and Creative Director/Designer/Developer Kelly Dantas in February 2009.
In Spring of 2009, Small Box matured into a full service agency with a renewed focus on quality and efficiency when the added two more staff members. Mr. Aurang Zeb is pushing Mamdani Web by standardizing practices in web production and organic serach engine optimization. Mr.Irfan has added Flash services to our clients and helped us grow in e-commerce. As Mamdani Web diversified its services and client base, we continued to grow in uncertain economic times.
In the end of 2009, Mamdani Web added more staff members to accomodate a growing emphasis on Search Engine Optimzation and Usability, improving the business of the web making our sites easier to find and easier to use, increasing traffic and improving conversions. Mr. Kashif has been the driving force behind our Free SEO Score Card and assists in all aspects of the operation. Mr. Aslam is working with our design staff to help our clients to the next level in identifying audience goals and improving conversions through a user centered design process.
Together, Small Box has developed a company capable of much more than an attractive Website design or “back-end” functionality. They have created a firm that combines technical expertise with business acumen — a company that understands how the Web works and how to put the Web to work for each client.
